Follow and discuss the details about the historic march from Selma to Montgomery, why that day is referred to as Bloody Sunday, and its significance to the Black community’s fight for equality. Along with this, learn about one freedom fighter and her book titled "Selma, Lord, Selma." This is a single lecture on 7/11.

Dan Webb
Dan Webb is from Selma Alabama, and in 1965, participated in the March from Selma to Montgomery as a foot solider with Martin Luther King Jr. In 2010, he founded and Veterans at Breakfast to provide a comfortable atmosphere where veterans from all military services could come together in a social setting. He serves as a member of El Paso Flags Across America at the Old Glory Memorial site. For the past seven years, he has served as a key member in organizing the Northeaster Parade. He remains diligent in serving his community by any means possible.
