Hector Olvero Alvarez
Dr. Hector Olvera Alvarez is an interdisciplinary health scientist with a passion for understanding health and wellbeing. He earned MS and PhD degrees in Environmental Engineering and Sciences from the UTEP and has completed post-doctoral trainings in epidemiology, psychological well-being, and public health. Currently, he's the Senior Associate Dean for Research at the School of Nursing, Oregon Health and Science University. His work is informed by his personal spiritual journey and extensive community involvement.
