Wacky Mad Scientists (Entering Grades 3-5)

Which science do you like best? Chemistry? Astronomy? Forensics? Biology? Geology? This is the perfect wacky camp full of different, mind-boggling science topics to explore. Campers will use science to secure a crime scene full of fingerprints, blood spatter and footprints while they hunt for more evidence. They will take apart an owl pellet to examine what the owl last ate and become polar bears as they conduct frozen cold experiments without actually feeling cold. Campers will go on a soaring adventure to learn about the spectacular flying reptiles called the Pterosaurs; investigate the importance of testing designs when building a balloon-powered Mars rover; conduct kooky chemical investigations to learn why things can explode or form gooey new blobs; and much more.
