Family Zoology

In this program, we invite families to come learn about the animal kingdom and the amazing creatures that inhabit the Earth. Participants will gain knowledge about different animals and their habitats while being delighted to encounter and handle many different animals. While we welcome family members of all ages, the content of this class is intended for children ages 5-8 years old. Minimum of two registrants required and must include one adult (18 years or older) and one child.

Grysell Ramos
Grysell Ramos received her bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences with a minor in Chemistry from The University of Texas at El Paso. She has been a lecturer at UTEP, as well as a laboratory and research coordinator, and has taught organismal/human biology, and vertebrate physiology methods. She has developed courses for P3 that focus on active student learning using hands-on activities; her classes are interesting and understandable.
