This intensive 20-session program builds upon the Basic Program, and helps students gain greater proficiency in listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Students in this highly interactive course will improve their reading, writing, and grammar plus the intermediate-level English pronunciation skills needed for daily conversation.

Josette Pelatan
Josette Pelatan is an enthusiastic and passionate instructor with 20 years of teaching experience. She has taught K-12 in public and private schools as well as at college- and university-level. Pelatan has several degrees including a master's degree from The University of Texas at El Paso in Education which plays a key part in her work as an ESL instructor at El Paso Community College. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Teaching, Learning & Culture with a focus in Politics & Social Justice at UTEP and strives to constantly connect her academic expertise to her career.
