Is your child brimming with imagination? Encourage their creative spirit with this writer's workshop for kids! Campers will explore a variety of genres and topics throughout the week using a variety of writing exercises and creative games. This camp will help young writers explore their own ideas
through writing. Campers will leave each workshop with confidence in their voice, and excitement about the stories they have yet to write. During this lively week of camp, students will fill personal journals with their story crafts!

Rebekah Jerabek
Ms. Jerabek has a Bachelor of Science in English with a minor in Journalism from Northwest Missouri State University, and a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from The University of Texas at El Paso. She is a part of the UTEP English Department where she teaches Rhetoric and Writing Studies courses. Ms. Jerabek is an avid reader and writer. She’s inspired by what she reads to embark on her own adventures—including hiking, kayaking and recreational archery—and in turn uses those adventures to fuel her writing. She enjoys helping others to develop a similar passion for reading, writing and adventuring in general.
