Interested in learning the Lean Six Sigma (LSS) methodology?
Get a top-level overview of Lean Six Sigma and an introduction to the core concepts of the LSS process improvement methodology, including problem identification and solution techniques. Discuss the cost of poor quality and the voice of the customer, review core LSS project tools and process data collection, and error proofing. Gain a more comprehensive understanding of the Lean 14 Principals, based on the Toyota Production System, and Six Sigma DMAIC Methodology. You will gain exposure to problem identification and solution techniques.
At the completion of this course, graduates will receive a LSS Yellow Belt Certificate.

Rodolfo Ayala
Rudy Ayala is an associate faculty member with the University of Phoenix Information Systems and Technology Department. Mr. Ayala worked for 33 years as a general engineer and information technology specialist with the Department of Defense (DoD) Test and Evaluation Department. During his tenure with the DoD, Mr. Ayala supported the Army at White Sands Missile Range in New Mexico and Aberdeen Command Group in Maryland, with the Navy at Point Mugu Naval Base in California, and at the Pentagon with the Ballistic Missile Defense Agency and the Command, Control, Communication and Intelligence Department. While with the DoD, he received several awards including the Army Meritorious Civilian Service Award in 2005, and he was inducted into the Army Acquisition Corps in 2002. He has also served as a program manager with Enterprise Information Services, Inc. in Vienna, Virginia. He continues to consult within the DoD community and other organizations through his own consulting business, Systems IT Solutions, LLC. Mr. Ayala holds a Masters of Science in Engineering from California State University at Northridge, a Bachelor of Science in both Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science from The University of Texas at El Paso, and is Lean Six Sigma - Black Belt certified from Purdue University.
