In this reading & writing booster course, your child will develop and grow their reading and writing skills. This camp is designed to review and reinforce the education they will receive in school. This camp will help develop the foundation for balanced literacy, by tackling comprehension, vocabulary, phonemic awareness, and phonics. This camp will also encourage young minds to practice their writing through creative writing assignments and discussing personal journal writing strategies.

Rebekah Jerabek
Ms. Jerabek has a Bachelor of Science in English with a minor in Journalism from Northwest Missouri State University, and a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from The University of Texas at El Paso. She is a part of the UTEP English Department where she teaches Rhetoric and Writing Studies courses. Ms. Jerabek is an avid reader and writer. She’s inspired by what she reads to embark on her own adventures—including hiking, kayaking and recreational archery—and in turn uses those adventures to fuel her writing.
