||Fred Perea has over 10 years of professional level experience in Human Resources Leadership. His focus is leading organizations and their HR teams specifically specializing in the areas of employee relations, organizational development, and leadership consultation. Fred understands the unique dynamics of teams and has provided leadership level guidance to organizations in the non-profit, public, and private sectors to organizations from The Home Depot, Inc. to the County of El Paso, TX. Fred is currently the Human Resources Director for TFCU and oversees the organization's HR and Training and Development initiatives. He has served on the Board of Directors for the El Paso Society for Human Resources Management and served as President from 2011-2013, and strongly believes in community engagement and supporting the needs of the community of El Paso, TX and Southern New Mexico. He is certified PHR and SHRM-CP and received a graduate degree from The University of Texas at El Paso and received his undergraduate degree from New Mexico State University. Most recently, he has provided HR consultation services to various departments at The Texas Tech Health Sciences Center and The University of Texas at El Paso. Fred has served as an instructor for UTEP's Professional and Public Programs for the past 6 years in the area of Professional Development teaching the Essentials of Human Resources Management, a course certified by the National Society for Human Resources Management.
