Delve into a study of the duel. For ages, the culture of honor served as psychological motivation for duels fought to end a quarrel or to settle a point of honor between opponents. Always irrational, often illegal, the duel presented an assortment of rules, customs and a sporting sense of personal integrity that has affected the whole world from biblical times to the modern era.
