The Texas Rangers are an investigative division of the Texas Department of Public Safety. The Rangers are considered as one of the most effective investigative agencies in the world. This course will introduce us to the history of the organization from its origins in 1823 protecting Texans on the frontier, to its current function as elite law enforcers of the 21st century.
