GECU courses equip participants with essential financial skills for everyday life. Each week will focus on one key topic: getting out of debt, money management basics, understanding and improving credit, preventing identity theft and preventing elder financial abuse. Through engaging discussions and real-world examples, attendees will gain practical knowledge to make informed money decisions, protect their assets and achieve greater financial security.

GECU
The GECU Community Development Department empowers individuals and families through free financial education and counseling. Programs include Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA), HUD-approved housing counseling, and youth financial education initiatives. The department also delivers workshops on money management, credit, fraud prevention, and homeownership.
