Research studies can attest workforces that are diverse lead in innovation, profitability and productivity.
In this course, you will discover what makes up a diverse workforce and the immediate impact on focusing on diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging will have in any organization in any sector. We will also discuss how to increase Diversity, Equality, Inclusion & Belonging (DEI&B) within your organization and how you could impact these focus areas to become an effective organization.
Learn what an inclusive culture is, how to develop that culture, the role bias can play, and why an inclusive culture is important while focusing on developing a culture of diversity and learn techniques to foster a culture of DEI&B.

This course will be held on Live/Online. An email with course information and class link will be sent to students approximately 1-3 days prior to the start date of class.

COURSE WITHDRAWAL: Refunds will be issued, minus a 15% cancellation fee per course, cost of materials, and/or lab fees, if a written request is faxed, emailed, or mailed and received three or more business days prior to the first day of a scheduled course. Refund requests must include your name, daytime telephone number, and the course number or name. This policy applies to all registrations, regardless of the payment method. Phone requests will not be accepted for a refund.Exceptions for refunds: There are no refunds for online courses. Fred Perea
Fred Perea has over ten years of experience in Human Resources Leadership. His focus is leading organizations and their HR teams and he specializes in employee relations, organizational development, and leadership consultation. Perea understands the unique dynamics of teams and provides leadership-level guidance to nonprofit, public, and private sector organizations. He is PHR and SHRM-CP certified and received a graduate degree from The University of Texas at El Paso, and his undergraduate degree from New Mexico State University. Perea is currently the Human Resources Director for TFCU and oversees the organization's HR and training and development initiatives; he has also provided HR consultation services to various departments at The Texas Tech Health Sciences Center and UTEP. For the past six years, Perea has taught P3's Essentials of Human Resources Management course which has been certified by the National Society for Human Resources Management.
