The goal of this course is to develop fluency through conversation practice under the guidance of a native speaker. Classes are face-to-face and attempt to replicate real-life situations. In addition, in each class, students will have the opportunity to learn about the different Portuguese-speaking countries, aspects of the culture and cuisine of the country. Portuguese-speaking countries: Brazil, Angola, Portugal, Mozambique, Guinea Bissau, Cape Verde, Equatorial Guinea, Sao Tome and Prince.

She lived in Brazil until 2021 and has since focused her professional efforts on advocating for patients' rights and promoting empathy in healthcare. Passionate about learning, Ms. Paz Karaman has a deep interest in ancient cultures and history. In addition to her native Portuguese, she is fluent in Spanish, French, and English.
