Communication Skills: Effective communication is paramount for leaders. Camp will focus on active listening, public speaking, and clear and concise written communication.
Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving: Leaders need the ability to analyze situations, identify solutions, and make sound decisions. Camp will equip participants with critical thinking frameworks and problem-solving strategies.
Teamwork and Collaboration: Successful leadership often relies on the collective effort of a team. Camp will emphasize collaboration skills, conflict resolution techniques, and fostering a positive team environment.
Self-Awareness and Leadership Style: Understanding oneself is vital for effective leadership. Workshops will help participants identify their strengths and weaknesses, explore different leadership styles, and develop their authentic leadership approach.

Andrea Chavez
Andrea Chavez is a senior at the University of Texas at El Paso, pursuing a bachelor’s degree on EC-6th grade as a bilingual generalist. She has experience teaching as a substitute and with P3 Kidz on Campus as a instructor.Paloma Diop
Paloma Diop is from El Paso, TX and has a B.A in Multidisciplinary studies with concentrations in Science and French from UTEP. She is currently pursuing her master's degree in Romance Languages. Diop learned and studied French language and culture at the Institut Catholique de Paris, in Paris, France and at the Université Catholique de l'Ouest in Angers, France. She has also taught ESL and French at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, NM as well as at summer camps run by Professional and Public Programs at UTEP. As a Francophone, Diop is excited to share her love of the French language and culture with her students.
