Do you have a story to tell? Do you aspire to be a famous and beloved author one day? Learn how to build on your natural creative spirit with this writer's workshop! Campers will explore a variety of genres and topics throughout the week using a variety of writing exercises and creative games. This camp will help amateur writers explore their own ideas through writing and learn key technical skills to grow their talent and become professional writers of their own stories. Campers will leave each workshop with confidence in their voice, and excitement about the stories they have yet to write.

Rebekah Jerabek
Ms. Jerabek has a Bachelor of Science in English with a minor in Journalism from Northwest Missouri State University, and a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from The University of Texas at El Paso. She is a part of the UTEP English Department where she teaches Rhetoric and Writing Studies courses. Ms. Jerabek is an avid reader and writer. She’s inspired by what she reads to embark on her own adventures—including hiking, kayaking and recreational archery—and in turn uses those adventures to fuel her writing.
