Hero Academy: Leadership and Empowerment (Entering Grades 3-5)

Youth will learn how to become independent leaders who understand how to work as part of a team and positively impact those around them. The following skills will be taught:
Communication Skills: Effective communication is paramount for leaders. Camp will focus on active listening, public speaking, and clear and concise written communication.
Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving: Leaders need the ability to analyze situations, identify solutions, and make sound decisions. Camp will equip participants with critical thinking frameworks and problem-solving strategies.
Teamwork and Collaboration: Successful leadership often relies on the collective effort of a team. Camp will emphasize collaboration skills, conflict resolution techniques, and fostering a positive team environment.
Self-Awareness and Leadership Style: Understanding oneself is vital for effective leadership. Workshops will help participants identify their strengths and weaknesses, explore different leadership styles, and develop their authentic leadership approach.

Student must bring their own snacks and beverages.
