In this hands-on course, students will learn how to use scientific methods to collect and analyze evidence, just like real detectives. We'll explore the world of fingerprints, from lifting prints to identifying different patterns. Students will also learn how to analyze shoe impressions, practice different search patterns used at crime scenes, and create detailed crime scene sketches. Get ready to dust for prints, examine footprints, and put your observation skills to the test!

Irene Martinez
Irene Martinez is an early college high school graduate and reciever her Bachelor of Science with a Biomedical concentration from UTEP in 2015. She recently obtained a Masters of Education in Learning & Technology from Western Governor's University in 2020. She has been a high school science teacher for three years-- in which she has taught Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Systems, Physics, and Forensic Science.
