Amaze your friends and learn some cool tricks as we explore the science behind the magic tricks. We will discover the secret of the purple and green flames, the black chemistry snakes, create magical potions, bloodworms, wizard glowing wands, brew some color changing Polyjuice and even learn how to levitate objects. Become a true master science wizard as you peer into a crystal ball, crystallize flowers, trick someone into seeing something that isn’t there, send smoke rings flying across the room and even make magical creatures appear before our eyes!

Student must bring their own snacks and beverages. No class on 4th of July

Grysell Ramos
Grysell Ramos received her bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences with a minor in Chemistry from The University of Texas at El Paso. She has been a lecturer at UTEP, as well as a laboratory and research coordinator, and has taught organismal/human biology, and vertebrate physiology methods. She has developed courses for P3 that focus on active student learning using hands-on activities; her classes are interesting and understandable.
