The goal of this course is to develop fluency through conversation practice under the guidance of a native speaker. Classes are face-to-face and attempt to replicate real-life situations. In addition, in each class, students will have the opportunity to learn about the different Portuguese-speaking countries, aspects of the culture and cuisine of the country. Portuguese-speaking countries: Brazil, Angola, Portugal, Mozambique, Guinea Bissau, Cape Verde, Equatorial Guinea, Sao Tome and Prince.

Passionate about learning, Ms. Paz Karaman has a deep interest in ancient cultures and history. In addition to her native Portuguese, she is fluent in Spanish, French, and English.
