The primary focus of the Korean beginner's class is to develop a basic level of communication, vocabulary, and grammar; the ultimate goal is to learn proper pronunciation in communication. Topics include understanding Korean vowels (Mo-Um) and consonants (Ja-Um), learning relative vocabulary, and practicing relative sentences with consonants.

Jinhwa Choi is from Korea and has a TESOL certificate and a master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction. Choi's career path has been dynamic and diverse, and her experiences have helped her build her English skills and knowledge of teaching strategies. Through her working life she has been a journalist, an English teacher at a secondary school in Korea, an associate director for an English learning program on the radio and the owner of an online English learning business.
