CompTIA A+ with Optional Externship

This program will build upon students’ existing user-level knowledge and experience with personal computer software and hardware in order to present fundamental concepts and techniques that technicians use every day on the job. Upon completing this course, students will gain the essential skills and technical expertise necessary to install, upgrade, configure, troubleshoot, optimize, repair and perform preventative maintenance on basic personal computer hardware and operating systems. This course is designed to fully prepare students to sit for and pass the CompTIA A+ (Core 1 and Core 2) Certification exams. Students are eligible for an optional externship with a local employer after successful course completion.

Early Bird (special discount) registration fee ends 1/31. This course will be held on UTEPs campus. An email with course information will be sent to students approximately 1-3 days prior to the start date of class. Company Payment: If your Company/Organization will be paying for your course enrollment, a company credit card may be used during your online registration. Late Registration Notice: Registrations done five days or less before start date will incur a $100 shipping expedited processing fee. COURSE WITHDRAWAL: Refunds will be issued, minus a 15% cancellation fee per course, cost of materials, and/or lab fees, if a written request is faxed/ prior to the first day of the scheduled course.
