Project Management Fundamentals

This three-week intensive course introduces the foundational concepts, tools, and techniques of modern project management. Designed for beginners and professionals looking to strengthen their project management skills and learn the break down of complex concepts into clear, usable techniques. Students will apply concepts through hands-on activities, templates, and a small, applied project.

Expectations and Goals

By the end of the course, participants will understand essential project management tools. Students will be able to:

* Confidently explain what project management is and how it can make your work easier and more successful.
* Turn ideas into well-defined projects with clear goals and purpose.
* Organize any project-big or small-into manageable steps that keep you in control.
* Use practical tools to track progress and quickly adjust when things change.
* Lead projects with greater confidence and reduce stress through better planning.
* Finish projects strong by reviewing what worked and what can improve next time.
* Apply everything you learn to a real project, giving you hands-on experience you can use immediately in your job.

This class does NOT count toward the requirements for a PMP certification.

An email with course information will be sent to students approximately 1-3 days prior to the start date of class. Company Payment: If your Company/Organization will be paying for your course enrollment, a company credit card may be used during your online registration. COURSE WITHDRAWAL: Refunds will be issued, minus a 15% cancellation fee per course, cost of materials, and/or lab fees, if a written request is faxed, emailed, or mailed and received three or more business days prior to the first day of a scheduled course. Refund requests must include your name, daytime telephone number, and the course number or name. This policy applies to all registrations, regardless of the payment method. Phone requests will not be accepted for refund. Exceptions for refunds: -There are no refunds for online courses. NOTE: Please allow 2-3 weeks for processing of refunds. No refunds will be given on or after the first class meeting. Cancellations 1-3 days before first class meeting incur a 50% cancellation fee.
