Mix-It-Up Makers: A Mixed Media Art Adventure (Entering Grades 6-8)

In this class, adventure through mixed media art by combining drawing, painting, collage, and texture into one exciting artwork. Students learn how different materials work together and how layering can turn simple ideas into bold creations. Participants will experiment with combining paper textures, with painted backgrounds, markers or oil pastels and much more! This class celebrates creativity, problem-solving, and personal style, showing kids that art does not have to fit in one box. By the end of the course, students gain confidence, flexibility, and a love for exploring new ways to express their ideas.
