School of Rock (Entering Grades 6-8)

Our Youth Guitar Camp is a fun and engaging music experience designed for both beginner and intermediate young guitar players. Campers will be grouped by skill level to ensure age-appropriate instruction and a positive learning environment.

Beginners will focus on guitar basics such as proper technique, simple chords, strumming patterns, and playing easy songs. Intermediate players will build on their existing skills by learning new chords, improving rhythm and timing, exploring simple lead lines, and playing more complete songs.

Through hands-on instruction, group practice, and musical games, students will grow in confidence, creativity, and teamwork while enjoying the excitement of making music together. This camp emphasizes enrichment, self-expression, and fun—no pressure, just progress!

Required materials: Acoustic guitar and guitar pick. Note that students should purchase guitars appropriate to their size. Student must bring their own snacks and beverages.
