Get ready to go on a mission to Mars! We'll have some awesome space adventures and learn what it takes to put humans on the red planet! Jr. Astronauts will learn about rockets, space travel, and discover what life would be like on Mars with fun activities. Some will include designing and building Martian habitats, their own model rocket, have rocket races and even build a contraption to land our mini astronauts safely. Explore the mysteries of the solar system like black holes, comets, stars, supernovas and more.
Notes:
Student must bring their own snacks, lunch, and beverages.

Grysell Ramos
Grysell Ramos received her bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences with a minor in Chemistry from The University of Texas at El Paso. She has been a lecturer at UTEP, as well as a laboratory and research coordinator, and has taught organismal/human biology, and vertebrate physiology methods. She has developed courses for P3 that focus on active student learning using hands-on activities; her classes are interesting and understandable.
