Step into a world where science feels like magic! In this enchanting camp, young scientists will explore the science behind amazing "magic" tricks through hands-on experiments and colorful reactions. Campers will create magical potions, glowing wands, and color-changing mixtures while discovering the secrets behind purple and green flames, chemistry snakes, crystal-growing, and illusion-based experiments. From levitating objects and sending smoke rings through the air to making magical creatures appear, campers will learn how science can amaze, surprise, and delight. All while building curiosity and confidence.

Student must bring their own snacks and beverages.

Grysell Ramos
Grysell Ramos received her bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences with a minor in Chemistry from The University of Texas at El Paso. She has been a lecturer at UTEP, as well as a laboratory and research coordinator, and has taught organismal/human biology, and vertebrate physiology methods. She has developed courses for P3 that focus on active student learning using hands-on activities; her classes are interesting and understandable.
