Do you love animals and want to learn how veterinarians care for them? In this hands-on camp, young animal lovers will explore the world of veterinary science with both furry and scaly friends. Campers will learn how to take basic animal measurements, check eyes, ears, teeth, and temperatures, and safely observe X-rays and animal care demonstrations. They'll also discover how veterinarians give medication, identify internal parasites, and provide general animal wellness. Activities may include working with exotic animals like snakes and lizards as well as small mammals such as mice and gerbils. This camp inspires curiosity, empathy, and confidence while teaching kids how to care for animals responsibly.
Notes:
Student must bring their own snacks and beverages.
