Step inside our frightfully fun lab, if you dare! Join us as we serve chocolate covered bugs, mix up some ghastly vampire slime, an oozing witch's brew, and create glowing monsters. Get ready for some eye-popping science demonstrations like the bubbling cauldrons, more ghoulish dry ice tricks, eerie smoking cups and the creepy, glow in the dark spider balls. We sneak in some real science as we conduct activities about some of our favorite creepy subjects like ghosts, monsters, vampires and witches. At the end of the week we'll touch cow eyeballs, a real brain and meet some amazing but not so scary slithering creatures!

Grysell Ramos
Grysell Ramos received her bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences with a minor in Chemistry from The University of Texas at El Paso. She has been a lecturer at UTEP, as well as a laboratory and research coordinator, and has taught organismal/human biology, and vertebrate physiology methods. She has developed courses for P3 that focus on active student learning using hands-on activities; her classes are interesting and understandable.
