Join us as we become Eco- Explorers of our amazing planet Earth! We will explore plant identification, animal tracking, water quality testing and much more ecology adventures as we learn about organisms and habitats in danger of extinction. Identify cool water critters, investigate skulls and X-rays to match the bite marks, explore the traces left behind by a mystery animal, and see how plants, wildlife and the environment adapt throughout the year. From insects, butterfly specimens, live animal visitors to rocks and minerals, there's plenty of exciting eco-explorations to discover in this fun class!

Grysell Ramos
Grysell Ramos received her bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences with a minor in Chemistry from The University of Texas at El Paso. She has been a lecturer at UTEP, as well as a laboratory and research coordinator, and has taught organismal/human biology, and vertebrate physiology methods. She has developed courses for P3 that focus on active student learning using hands-on activities; her classes are interesting and understandable.
