Dive into mining, geology and metallurgical lab demonstrations! The Mining Engineering Summer Camp introduces students to hands-on learning experiences where they can explore mineral processing, applied chemistry, and material science. Students will be able to discover the world of mining engineering through lab demonstrations, taking a field trip to an industry site, and will become familiar with extractive metallurgy while visiting our foundry. The camp will be residential, and students will be able to get a taste of college campus life!
The camp is residential, so students will need to pack for an overnight stay. They must bring toiletries and proper laboratory attire (closed toed shoes, pants, tee shirt).
